Education

Cardinal Hill Healthcare System serves as a national training center, providing benchmark seminars and conferences for healthcare providers.  Each year, professionals attend courses at the Cardinal Hill Center of Learning to acquire skills and knowledge of the best practices, therapies and techniques available in physical rehabilitation.

Through our facilities, nationally and internationally recognized experts in the field of physical rehabilitation join the Cardinal Hill Healthcare team to provide continuing education and training courses for physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare providers.

Registration for courses may be done by printing off a registration form and returning it to us by mail.  Forms can be faxed to (859) 367-7188.

Meeting room requirements for both external and in house speakers are available.

Cardinal Hill Healthcare System also offers classes at Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky in Florence, KY.  These are called the Cardinal Hill University Programs. For more information call (859) 525-1128.

 Research

Cardinal Hill Healthcare System has been a part of a tradition of excellence in the areas of physical rehabilitation for over 50 years.  Our goal is to provide compassionate care using the latest in rehabilitation medicine and therefore is committed to developing and promoting a benchmark research program.  Cardinal Hill's research committee reviews proposals submitted by investigators for all research involving clients in the Cardinal Hill Healthcare System.
 
Cardinal Hill's research committee follows the Belmont Report from the Office of the Secretary, entitled "Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protections of Human Subjects of Research" April 18, 1979.

    1)  IRB approval letter
    2)  IRB Approved Participant Consent Form
    3)  Copy of protocol
    4)  Cardinal Hill Synopsis of Proposed Research Form 
    5)  Review the Cardinal Hill Research Protocol Submission Process
