Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital's Adult Day Health provides an all-day program of structured, stimulating activities for younger adults with health problems or disabilities. Our philosophy is based on the belief that all persons have the right to an opportunity for continued growth and self-determination.
Adult Day Health not only offers our clients health and social benefits, but it also gives their family caregivers relief from the stress of constant care and the opportunity to maintain independent lives.
Adult Day Health is a provider for SCL, HCB and ABI waivers under Kentucky Medicaid.

Adult Day Health clients must be medically stable; not confined to bed.
Clients must demonstrate behavior that is acceptable in a group setting.
Clients are normally at least 21 years of age; exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Every client must have a personal physician who provides medical orders, contributes to the client's individual plan of care, and is available in case of medical emergency.
Prior to admission, Adult Day Health staff conduct extensive health and social assessment. We encourage prospective clients to take advantage of our free preadmission visiting day. This trial visit allows the prospective client, the client's family and the Adult Day Health team to ensure that our program is compatible with the client's needs.
