About Us

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center (CHRC) was founded in 1958.  Patients come from a 20 county area surrounding greater Louisville, including Southern Indiana.

The Center provides occupational and speech therapies, audiology services for children and adults and Creative Beginnings, one of the region's only integrated early childhood development programs for children with disabilities and their typical peers.

 

History

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center/Easter Seals of Louisville was founded in 1958 by the Kentucky Easter Seal Society with a mission of providing programs and services, public education, advocacy, government and public relations and technical assistance for people with disabilities of all ages, their families and friends.  We provide comprehensive and caring physical, occupational and speech therapies, Early Intervention and Audiology services to individuals of all ages and from nearly every zip code in Louisville.

Patient Bill of Rights

As the patient or parent of a patient you have the following rights:

    1. You have the right to considerate and respectful care.
    2. Following an evaluation, the results will be discussed with you. A copy of the written report is available upon request.
    3. After the evaluation, you will be involved in the development of treatment goals, and a written plan will be developed.
