Complete volunteer application and provide updated immunization records, current TB skin test, and signed criminal background check (if 18 years or older). Return paperwork to JoAnne Burch Burris, Volunteer Coordinator, at 2050 Versailles Road, Lexington, KY 40504.

TB Skin tests must be taken within the past 3 months. If a new TB skin test is required, please call 859-254-5701 ext 5369 to make an appointment. If no one answers, please leave a message and someone will return the call. This test if provided by the hospital at no charge.

The Volunteer Coordinator reviews the application and paperwork and submits the criminal background check to Human Resources and Health Screening information to Employee Health for clearance. Upon health screening and background check clearance, the Volunteer Coordinator will schedule an interview with the applicant to discuss volunteer opportunities.

Once the volunteer placement is decided the applicant will return for Volunteer Orientation, receive the Volunteer Handbook, and tour the facility.
