Psychology Services Student Program

The psychologists at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital assist patients and their families in dealing with psychological concerns that may arise or become magnified as a result of a physical or cognitive disability.  Psychological counseling is available on an inpatient and outpatient basis.  Outpatient neuropsychological evaluation is available for patients who are referred for evaluation of current cognitive functioning that may be impaired as a result of trauma to the brain.  Psychologists also provide information and education to patients and families regarding the process of rehabilitation and the use of strategies and techniques to help deal with emotional distress once the patient returns home.
