The Cardinal Hill Hospital Junior Board is a group of young professionals dedicated to the support and promotion of the innovative services at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. Teen Board

The Teen Board is a group of Juniors and Seniors from Fayette and surrounding counties who meet monthly at the hospital to work on a variety of service projects. The students also have opportunities to learn about various medical professions such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, etc.

In addition to the monthly meetings, they volunteer individually throughout the hospital doing activities such as Blueberry Spa, BINGO, and Game Night.  The Teen Board also hosts special events such as a St. Patrick’s Day Party and a Spring Fling for patients. The HANDS (Helping Accomplish Noteworthy Duties Successfully) Awards are presented each year at the Annual Auxiliary Luncheon in conjunction with the KHA Convention. The Award honors hospital auxilians and volunteers for their outstanding service to their hospitals and communities. The 2011-2012 Cardinal Hill Teen Board was the recipient of the Community Outreach/Collaboration Project Award!

Cardinal Hill Hospital Congratulations to Dan & Cathy Boggs for being named the United Way 2010 Central Kentucky Volunteer Award for the Family Category. We are proud to have Cathy and Dan as volunteers at Cardinal Hill. Cathy also serves as the President of our Auxiliary. Congratulations, you both are amazing individuals! Thank You!
