Cardinal Hill Hospital’s Junior Board, founded by former CH patient Will Coffman, started Round Ball BASH in 2013. A spin-off of The Kentucky BASH, Round Ball brings together Cardinal Hill friends and UK fans following a UK basketball game. Included in the down-town event, is live music, silent and live auc-tions and special guests of UK Basketball. Funds raised from this event go towards the new Aquatic Center at Cardinal Hill, which includes three pools used for various forms of therapy and is also open for use by the community of Lexington.

Teen Board

The Teen Board is a group of Juniors and Seniors from Fayette and surrounding counties who meet monthly at the hospital to work on a variety of service projects. The students also have opportunities to learn about various medical professions such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, etc.

In addition to the monthly meetings, they volunteer individually throughout the hospital doing activities such as Holiday Parties, BINGO, and Game Night.  The Teen Board also hosts special events such as a St. Patrick’s Day Party and a Spring Fling for patients. Applications are accepted in August and September each year. For more information, contact Marley Tribble at 859-254-5701 ext. 5368 and This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
