Many individuals with Parkinson’s Disease experience voice problems characterized by a very soft, weak vocal quality resulting in mumbled speech that is difficult to hear and understand.

The Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) program is provided to patients through a series of daily treatment sessions that include strong focus on the voice. Patients are trained to use high effort when vocalizing and speaking to improve the clarity and articulation of their speech.
