Cardinal Hill specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sensory integration problems in children. Our one-of-a-kind sensory integration gym assists children who have difficulty organizing movements and need help processing sensations for use in their environments.
Carefully designed activities under the direct supervision of a therapist help children organize their movements through improved sensory processing. We also offer Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests.
Cardinal Hill offers a Pediatric Eating and Swallowing Clinic for children who have difficulty drinking or eating by mouth, accepting new foods and/or gaining weight.
The goals of the clinic are to assist children in eating a variety of foods safely, reaching optimal eating skills and making mealtime more enjoyable for children and their families.
Cardinal Hill has a growing augmentative communication program with specialized equipment to test and treat a variety of pediatric communication needs.
This program is led by an assistive technology specialist.
