Center of Learning Meeting Room Requirements for In-house Personnel

Audiovisual Equipment:

The following audiovisual equipment is available in all conference rooms:

Other available equipment: (available upon request)

  • White Boards (conf. rooms 1 & 2 only)
  • Easels, pads & markers
  • Audio-Conference Equipment
  • Portable Screen
  • TV/VCR Combinations

It is advised that technology use be practiced before official presentation date.

Please contact the Center of Learning 2-3 days in advance to reserve equipment.

Please allow at least a half hour for setup of equipment to resolve any technical issues that may arise.

Personal computers are allowed, however, you will not be able to connect/network to the hospital system.
CD or floppy disk backup is encouraged in the event Center of Learning laptops must be used.

Conference Room Requirements:

Center of Learning conference rooms are to be scheduled through COL staff only.

You will be notified in the event of a room change.

Special event forms for room setup must be sent to Housekeeping in advance of a function.

Temperature in conference rooms vary – please be prepared for changing temperatures.

Daily conference room schedules can be found on the Center of Learning bulletin board and signage as you exit the elevator. Please notify COL staff if scheduled rooms are not needed.

Table and chairs must be returned to original setup if moved during a meeting.

Food Services:

Food and drink services are available through Cardinal Hill’s Food and Nutritional Services department – special event form must be sent in advance of the function to Food & Nutrition.

Outside food and drink are allowed.
Vending machines are located at the end of the hallway near Outpatient Clinic.

Note: Center of Learning is not responsible for room setup or providing food and drink.
Please contact the appropriate departments for these services.
