Outpatient Services - Creative Beginnings Childcare

Creative Beginnings provides a nurturing environment for children without special needs.  Our goal is to create an environment where a child receives love, security, acceptance, values, self control, independence, protection and guidance.

The curriculum encircles the vital objective of helping a child develop a positive self-image.  A wide variety of experiences are planned so that each child has opportunities for success.

Creative Beginnings is housed on the first floor of the Lyman V. Ginger Pediatric Center that is located behind Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital on Versailles Road.

Childcare is available for typically developing children from 6 weeks  - 5 years of age
The center is open from 6:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Childcare is a pro-social program, which encourages development through interactions and activities with peers.  Teachers earnestly try to involve a child in the excitement of learning.

Each day the schedule offers a wide variety of activities that include rhythm, music, art, literature, physical education, and creative movement.  Our curriculum also includes play.  Through play, a child finds joy, and becomes ready for the next step of development.  The curriculum of each class encircles the vital objective of helping a child develop a positive self-image.  A wide variety of experiences are planned so that each child has opportunities for success.

Childcare provides for the total child by addressing individual needs of social, emotional, physical, and mental development for a child  6 weeks  - 5 years of age.
