Creative Beginnings is an inclusive, full-day child care program, housed within Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center located at 9810 Bluegrass Parkway.

Our mission is to provide benchmark services to allow children to develop to their fullest potential.  By providing quality service to children at a young age, this program will put children on the path to reaching their full potential.

What We Do

Create a learning environment that is developmentally appropriate and that works to meet your child’s needs
Provide opportunities to nurture creativity in your child.
View parents/caregivers as partners in their child’s early childhood experience.
Assess your child to provide the appropriate instruction to increase cognitive, physical, social, language and self-help skills.
Foster appropriate levels of independence.

What We Provide

Creative Beginnings provides developmentally appropriate curriculums and activities, developmental screenings by teachers and other professionals, daily progress reports, access to our parents through our open-door policy.
We provide a safe, positive environment for your child.
All staff is CPR and First Aid Certified and has had comprehensive background screenings
Classrooms are bright, clean and inviting, the playground is enclosed and access to the building is tightly controlled.

We treat children with respect; accept that each child is different; encourage exploration; use appropriate limit-setting; help children learn to interact appropriately with their peers; understand and respect different parenting styles; support and reinforce each child’s growing independence, and provide a positive learning experience based upon level of development.

Hours and Fees:
Creative Beginnings is housed within Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Center/Easter Seals of Louisville.  The entrance to Child Care is on the side of the building.
Hours: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Monday – Friday
Year Around

Children will be placed in classrooms depending upon their age and level of development.

Weekly fees are based upon age and classroom assignment:

• Infants - $184/week
• Toddlers - $178/week
• 2 year olds - $160/week
• 3 year olds - $150/week
• 4 year olds - $146/week
• Pre - K - $146/week

Age appropriate immunizations are required prior to enrollment.

A $50 initial registration fee will be due the first day of enrollment.  Each subsequent year registration will be reduced to $25. After one year of enrollment, one week of care will be provided free of charge.
