Outpatient Services - Cardinal Hill Aquatic Programs (C.H.A.P.)

The mission of Cardinal Hill Aquatic Program is to provide the community with a positive aquatic experience that will benefit them both physically and emotionally.  Cardinal Hill’s Aquatic Programs are clinically driven, allowing participants to gain functional mobility and independence.

The pools are located on the ground floor of the newest wing.  They are located in the same area as our Outpatient Clinic and the Cardinal Hill Pain Institute

Cardinal Hill Hospital has three pools: 

  • The Therapeutic Pool is kept at 95 Degrees
  • A larger pool that average between 86-88 Degrees

  • A Resistance Swim Pool

One to One Therapy
  • Physical/Occupational therapy (insurance based)
Independent Pool Program
  • Monday-Thursday—8:00a-6:00p
  • Friday—8:00a-5:00p
  • $5.00/visit
 Arthritis Class

  • Monday/Wednesday/Friday—12:00p-1:00p
  • $5.00/class
Infant/Toddler Swim
  • Spring Sessions (April/May)
  • 2 times per week/4 weeks
Fearful Adult Class
  • Times dependent on client interest

 

Aquatic Zumba Class

        •  Mondays at 11:00am
        •  Thursdays at 11:00am

Parkinson’s Aquatic Exercise Class
  • Thursdays at 2:00p
  • $5.00/class

How to Participate


Referrals (Physician Consent, Physician Orders) are needed for all aquatic programs due to the temperature of the water.  Referrals can be called in to our Referral Relations Department at (859) 367-7121 for one on one therapy with a therapist. To attend independent pool, arthritis classes or the Infant/Toddler Swim, please call 367-7125.
