Pediatric PT

Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital provides outpatient physical therapy services to children with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses from birth to18 years of age.  Pediatric physical therapists create individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child.     Physical therapy treatment focuses on improving developmental skills (ie. sitting, rolling, crawling), ambulation, mobility, balance and coordination, strength and range of motion with the ultimate goal of independent mobility. Our physical therapists are also trained in serial casting, splinting and seating and mobility assessment and prescription.
